Derek Neerkin
Managing Director
Having studied Commerce, Textiles, Retailing and Psychology, Derek began his career on a Management programme with one of the UK’s major retailers before moving to a management role from the Liverpool store to Selfridges. This led to him then joining a division of GUS as a senior knitwear buyer. He then joined a PLC Textile company as Sales Manager before starting his first company wholesaling and retailing young fashion [read more=”read more” less=”read less”] this led to him to then starting manufacturing similar items for most of the UK’s largest retailers before selling the company. Derek’s next move was to train as an Insurance Underwriter and spent many years as a Senior Manager within the Insurance industry before again setting up his own IFA and Mortgage Company whilst also operating as a Business Consultant specialising in companies experiencing financial difficulties. A highly experienced businessman, Derek has had exceptional success in developing many businesses from fashion manufacturing, property and financial services, where he held Senior Sales and Management roles with various UK and International companies. Derek founded the Serviced Office Company Pennine Way Ltd in 1999 where he has developed various sites around the City Fringe.[/read]
Steven Neerkin
Director
Steve holds a Bsc (Hons) in Estate Management, an Exec MBA (Distinction) from Cass Business School and the Financial Times Non-Executive Directorship diploma. He spent the majority of his working career as a derivatives broker in the City of London but finally hung up his phone to join Pennine Way in 2016 to specialize in business development and customer relationship management. An experienced Non Exec and Charitable Trustee, Steve is also a recognized authority on the subject of Cuban cigars and has lectured to experts both in the Uk and Cuba.
Mike Neerkin
I.T. and Communications Director
Michael worked in retail and Manufacturing for over 40 years with many National High Street companies in various Senior management and technical positions. Twenty five years ago his business direction changed when he was asked to take on the responsibility of IT development for the Woolworth Group. This led to a new learning curve as the IT infrastructure grew and branched out in many diverse directions. From simple PC’s through to IP telephony [read more=”read more” less=”read less”] and EDI connectivity, Michael was chosen to lead the way forward as technology advanced. Mike recently joined Pennine Way at the beginning of 2015 to take control of all I.T Operations in support of both the company and all of their tenants throughout the various business centres.[/read]
Sharan Khan
Finance Director
Sharan has been in the finance field for over 15 years. After moving to London from the sunny Caribbean, Sharan has held many positions including Management Accountant in Energy Trading, Client Monies Manager in Financial Services, Finance Manager in Marketing and Finance Director in Financial Services. Sharan held the position of Finance Director with Pennine Way Ltd between 2004 and 2008 before re-joining the team in November 2013.
Galit Bloom
Centre Manager
Galit studied in Israel before moving to Tel-Aviv where she worked for an organisation in helping people who had recently emigrated to find both homes and jobs to hep assist them to integrate into a new way of life.
In 2014 Galit decided to move to London to start a new career. She worked in Events as an Events organiser and has experience in sales and administration. In February 2018 Galit joined Pennine Way.
Marta Adamczyk
Centre Supervisor
Marta graduated law in Warsaw, Poland. She worked 3 years in the polish civil court as judge’s assistant. Her experience gained in many law and insurance companies located in Poland.
In 2017 Marta decided to move to London to start a new career path. First, she worked as an insurance broker and then as a bookkeeper in the accounting departments.
Until Marta joined Pennine Way she also taught children at Polish Saturday School, where she is provided quality learning on subjects such as polish language, geography, history and culture.
In September 2020 Marta joined Pennine Way Team.
Khushbu Sheth
Centre Manager
Khushbu studied a Master’s in Business Management and Bachelor’s in Information & Technology degree in India.
She joined the Pennine Way team as Centre Manager in November 2019 with extensive 7 years’ experience with in both the retail and serviced office industry. She is passionate and dedicated to drive the team to success and establish meaningful relationships with her clients and customers to sustain a business operation.
When Khush is not at work she enjoys Outdoor Sports and Traveling.
Aiga Konopecka
Centre Manager
Experienced Community Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the facilities services industry. Aiga studied Business Management and IT in University of East London, and is skilled in Problem Solving, Meeting Coordination and Planning.
Stephane Campos
Office Assistant
Stephane graduated in Pedogogy (the art, science and profession of teaching) at University in Brazil. After finishing University, Stephanie began her career working as a Receptionist and Junior Office Assistant.
2 years later she began teaching until moving to England in 2020 where she joined Pennine Way Ltd as an Office Assistant.
Aneta Idczak
Head of Housekeeping
Aneta grew up in Babiak Poland, and was educated at the Pozman school of Commerce. After graduating Aneta began working as a Trainee Manager in A High Class fashion company. 6 years later Aneta was Headhunted by a very large company as a Supervisor and P/A to the Managing Director.
After several years Aneta was promoted and was moved to Dziwnow a Seaside town to take charge of the business in that region.
In 1996 Aneta moved to England and set up her own business which she ran successfully until 2021 when, due to the Pandemic, she felt the need to close her business and start her role at Pennine Way as the Maintenance Manager in charge of 6 buildings.
Jackie English
Head Centre Manager
Jackie graduated from Havering and Abbscross College prior to beginning her work life as an Advertising Executive with a major city firm. After obtaining several years experience Jackie then chose to move onto a senior position with Newham Council after which Jackie joined the Prison Service looking after Young Offenders.
Jackie’s penultimate position was as that of a Senior Office Manager before joining Pennine Way Ltd in 2022 where her role includes the management of all Centre Managers together with all Office Supervisors. Her hobbies include Travelling, Music, and Socialising.
Shad Muhammed Rujully
Centre Manager
Shad grew up in Mauritius before moving to England when he was 18 years old.
Shad graduated in 2005 at East London College with a Business Management & Art degree.
After graduating. Shad worked mostly in Retail & Business Operations for various companies for over 20 years , to include Lillywhites in Piccadilly Circus & Ted Baker in St Paul’s and also at Tesco where Shad was employed as an Assistant Duty Manager prior to joining Empire Casino in Leicester Square.
Shad’s various hobbies include football, swimming and travelling.
